1. Who provides the service
INNOCard Events is a service of INNOCARD SOLUTIONS SL, Spanish tax ID B06844773, registered office at Calle Badajoz 35, 28931 Móstoles (Madrid), Spain ("INNOCard"). Contact: info@innocard.me.
These terms govern the use of INNOCard Events by the company, organization or person who organizes an event (the "Organizer"). They complement INNOCard's general terms and conditions and legal notice. For events, these terms prevail if anything differs.
2. What INNOCard Events is
A tool to create an event's registration page and form, give every attendee a badge in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, send them emails about the event, check people in with a QR code and, if the attendee asks for it, give them a digital business card for networking.
INNOCard Events is being opened gradually. Some features may not be available to every organizer from day one; INNOCard will tell each organizer which ones are active.
3. Price
- Up to 100 attendees loaded per event, the service is free.
- Above 100 attendees the price is fixed and agreed in writing for each event before the service is provided. It cannot be bought on the website: the Organizer requests it through the INNOCard Events form or by writing to info@innocard.me.
- The Organizer may load more than 100 attendees, but sending emails and badges above that number is blocked until the quote is accepted.
- Full white label (without the "Made with INNOCard Events" mention) and custom features are paid.
4. Organizer obligations
- Use the service only for real, lawful events and for communications related to the event.
- Have a legal basis to process its attendees' data and, when it uploads them itself (for example, with a CSV file), have informed them and, where required, obtained their consent.
- Inform its attendees about how their data are processed. INNOCard provides the INNOCard Events privacy notice, which is linked from the registration form.
- Not use the service to send unsolicited advertising or unlawful or offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Keep its access credentials safe and be responsible for how its team members use its account.
5. Emails to attendees
Emails are sent with INNOCard templates that the Organizer cannot modify. The Organizer only writes the subject and a text, with a character limit and without its own links or code. Every email includes a way to stop receiving messages about the event. INNOCard may limit, delay or stop sendings that look abusive or receive complaints.
6. Wallet badges
Each attendee's badge is an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass with a signed QR code. It can be updated remotely (for example, if the time or room changes) and show notifications on the attendee's phone on the day of the event. To work, the pass goes through Apple's or Google's services, which process its data under their own terms. The QR code only identifies the registration, and only users authorized by the Organizer can scan it.
Attendees who already have an INNOCard can also use it to check in.
7. The attendee's digital card
If the attendee asks for it when registering, INNOCard creates a free personal digital business card with the event's brand, for networking during the event. This card is a service INNOCard provides to the attendee, not to the Organizer.
After the event, INNOCard emails the attendee so they can keep the card with their own account. From then on the card belongs to the attendee and the Organizer no longer manages it. The Organizer can only see a summary of the cards and companies created by its attendees when each attendee has expressly authorized it. If the attendee does not claim the card, it is deactivated after the period stated in that email.
8. Ticket payments
When available, the Organizer will be able to charge for tickets through Stripe. To enable it, the Organizer must pass Stripe's identity verification and accept Stripe's terms. Buying a ticket is a contract between the attendee and the Organizer: INNOCard is not a party to that sale, and the Organizer is responsible for invoicing the ticket, refunds and consumer law compliance. INNOCard will charge a commission, stated before payments are enabled.
9. Data protection: INNOCard as processor
The Organizer is the controller of its attendees' personal data collected or uploaded for its event. INNOCard processes them on the Organizer's behalf, as a processor, under Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). By using INNOCard Events, the Organizer and INNOCard agree to this data processing agreement:
- Subject and duration: providing INNOCard Events while the Organizer uses it and for the retention period stated below.
- Data and data subjects: identification and contact data, professional data (company, job title), registration form answers, attendance (check-in time) and email status (delivered, opened) of attendees, and data of the Organizer's users.
- Instructions: INNOCard only processes the data on the Organizer's instructions, which are those it gives when setting up and using the service.
- Confidentiality: INNOCard staff with access to the data are bound by confidentiality.
- Security: INNOCard applies appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted communications, per-user access control and backups.
- Sub-processors: the Organizer authorizes INNOCard to use hosting, email delivery and Wallet pass (Apple and Google) providers to provide the service. Where any of them processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so with GDPR safeguards (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses). INNOCard will give notice of changes in sub-processors so the Organizer can object.
- Data subject rights: INNOCard will help the Organizer respond to requests for access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. If an attendee sends them to INNOCard, INNOCard will forward them to the Organizer.
- Security breaches: INNOCard will notify the Organizer without undue delay of any breach affecting its data, with the information needed to report it where required.
- End of service: each event's data are kept while the Organizer keeps the event in its account and for no longer than twelve months after the event. They are then deleted, unless the Organizer exports them beforehand or the law requires them to be kept.
- Verification: INNOCard will make available to the Organizer the information needed to show compliance with this agreement.
INNOCard is the controller, not a processor, of the data it processes for its own purposes: the Organizer's and its team's accounts, the digital card of attendees who ask for one and the event community, and INNOCard's marketing to people who have agreed to it. See the INNOCard Events privacy notice.
10. Suspension
INNOCard may suspend an event or an account, giving notice where possible, if it detects use contrary to these terms, unwanted mass sendings or a risk to the security of the service or other users.
11. Liability
INNOCard provides the service with due care but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation and is not liable for failures of third-party services (Apple, Google, email or telecommunications providers) or for content published by the Organizer. For the free service, INNOCard's liability is limited to what the law requires.
12. Changes
INNOCard may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to the Organizer reasonably in advance and will not affect events already quoted.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If the Organizer is a business or professional, the parties submit to the courts of Móstoles (Madrid, Spain). If the Organizer is a consumer, to the courts of their place of residence.
